About Us

We are a team of creative professionals that provide a platform and venue for artists, makers and designers to create and be seen. The lab is a flexible multi-use space, including a wood shop, design studio, gallery and art studios. We’ve built a network of innovative creators and entrepreneurs through our founding partners at Sunbunker and Preview Events.

Membership

Founders Lab NYC provides tiered memberships to artists and entrepreneurs seeking to enhance their technical capacity. This membership program will provide the Lab’s impressive collection of tools in the realm of fabrication, carpentry, and design. In addition, we are also calling for membership proposals from our community. Artists working in a variety of disciplines, from content creation and sculpting to furniture design, are invited to participate, as long as the proposals align with our mission to create socially engaging and innovative products. Those selected will enter the membership program on a sliding scale, independent of the tiered offerings. We are also mindful of the unique challenges facing artists and entrepreneurs, as well as those having limited access to build capacity; and hope to have the opportunity to lift up their projects and voices through this program.

Our community of skilled creators brings visions to life. The Lab has the capacity to actualize design through prototyping, fabrication and production.
